Perhaps Algeria is among the countries that have known the succession of many civilizations, with which they left traces in many states and all over the country, in its east, west and center, as well as its vast south. These historical monuments attract many tourists, especially history lovers who have a culture of learning about the history of the region. Perhaps the city of Metili in the state of Ghardaia is among the regions that have known a lot of the structure of the national memory, and that left many monuments that remained attesting to the rich history of the people of this region.. Therefore, this topic came to study those historical sites and monuments and their role in tourism development in the region, and it is a wor- thy topic Paying attention to several facts, the most important of which is the need of the Mtlili region to raise its economic performance and protect the cultural heritage, and among these landmarks we find the historic Mtlili Palace, the ancient historical towers, as well as the shrines of the battles and clashes of the Mujahideen of the region against French colonialism during the liberation revolution, and the shrines of saints and shrines erected in The region, as well as the eyes and senses that are abundant in the region
