    The subject of this research dealt with a study on "social support and self-esteem among the blind". We chose this topic after a number of reasons that prompted us to do it, and this study aimed to identify the blind and the level of social support and their self-esteem if it was high, medium or low, and for what reason this could be due, trying to identify social support and appreciate The self and the visually impaired The following questions were raised :  What is the level of social support for the blind ?  Does the blind suffer from low self-esteem ? The study also aimed to verify the following hypotheses :  The level of social support for the blind is high. ?  The blind suffers from low self-esteem The study was carried out in the White Cane Association in the state of Ghardaia. The study targeted three (3) cases, two females and one male, with total visual impairment, ranging in age from (13-20 years old). As for the approach adopted in the study, it was represented in the clinical approach, which included the following tools : the clinical interview, the social support test, and the Coppersmith self-esteem test. The study concluded that there were different results between the three cases, as they were as follows :  The first case has a high level of social support and low self- esteem.  The second case is a high level of social support and an average self-esteem  The third case is a high level of social support and self-esteem together
