جاءت هذه الدراسة البحثية لمعرفة الكيفية التي عالجت بيها القناتين BBCو CNNنيوز بالعربي ،انتفاضة طوفان الأقصى في ظل تطور الميديا الجديدة ،شكلا ومضمونا ، حيث تعد هذه الدراسة من البحوث التحليلية المقارنة حيث ارتأينا لاختيار عينة قصدية متمثلة في (24)لفيديوهات من القناتين في الفترة الممتدة من 07أكتوبر إلى 12ديسمبر 2023،ولذلك اعتمدنا على منهج الوصفي والمقارن مع استخدام استمارة تحليل المحتوى مع وحداته وفئاته كأداة للبحت ،كما انطلقنا من افتراض نظرتين رأينا أنهما الأنسب لدراستنا وهما كل من نظرية الاطر الإعلامية ونظرية حارس البوابة. وقد توصلت دراستنا إلى مجموعة من نتائج منها أن القناتين كان هدفهم الأول هو الإعلام والإخبار لأن أغلب برامجهم موجز أخبار ،إضافة أن القناتين كان تركيزهم على المؤثرات الحية بدرجة كبير مقارنة بالمؤثرات الاخرى لان تجعل المشاهد يعيش الحدث أخبر لم يتضح إتجاه القانتين حول انتفاضة طوفان الأقصى لكن نوع This research study came to find out how the BBC and CNN news channels in Arabic dealt with the Al-Aqsa Intifada in light of the development of new media, in form and content, as this study is considered a comparative analytical research, where we decided to choose an intentional sample of (24) videos from the two channels in the period from 07 October to 12 December 2023, therefore we relied on a descriptive and comparative approach we saw that the two most suitable for our study are both the theory of media frames and the theory of the gatekeeper.
