    The Maghreb is a vast area from the province of Cyrenaica in the east to the Atlantic Ocean in the west. It is featured by its diverse population. Its people are Berbers from the Pyrenees and the Beths, in addition to the presence of the Roman occupier in it, as well as Jewish, African and Sudanese minorities.
