    إن المفهوم البسيط للخطابة هو إلقاء الكلام المنثور مسجوعا أو مرسلا لاستمالة المخاطبين إلى رأي أو ترغيبهم في عمل. ولقد تميزت الخطابة الإسلامية العربية على نظيرتها الغربية بعدة أصول وقواعد نجدها قد تبلورت وظهرت في خطب الأديب أحمد أوبكة. الأديب أحمد بن عمر أوبكة أحد الرجال الذين تميزوا بهذا الفنّ وعرفوا مختلف أنواعه الدينية والأدبية، ومن الخصائص الفنية التي تميزت بها: الأسلوب الراقي المتين واللغة، والأداء. Abstract The simple concept of rhetoric refers to the process of delivering a speech to attract the addressees to an opinion or to encourage them to do a work. The Arab Islamic rhetoric, unlike the Western one, was distinguished by several basics and rules that appeared in the speeches of Sheikh Ahmed OUBEKKA. Sheikh Ahmed ben Omar OUBEKKA is famous for this art and is known for its various religious and literary types. The elegant solid style, language, and performance characterized his speeches.
