    Le présent travail est une étude qui porte sur les thèmes et les enjeux symbolique dans le romanTambour des larmesde l’écrivain mauritanien Beyroukdont l’objectif est de découvrir une nouvelle littérature mauritanienne francophone d’une part, et d’autre part de déchiffrer la symbolique des thèmes de ce roman dans une perspective de démontrer à quel point il les a exploités pour refléter sa société. De ce fait, nous avons utilisé deux approches à savoir: l’approche thématique pour extraire les thèmes afin d’interpréter leurs enjeux symboliques et l’approche sociocritique dans le but de clarifier leurs représentations dans la société mauritanienne. ملخص العمل الحالي عبارة عن دراسة تركز على الموضوعات والقضايا الرمزية في رواية "طبل الدموع" للكاتب الموريتاني بيروك والتي تهدف إلى اكتشاف أدب موريتاني جديد ناطق باللغة الفرنسية من ناحية ، ومن ناحية أخرى لفك رموز الرواية بهدف توضيح مدى استخدامها لتعكس مجتمعه. لذلك ، استخدمنا مقاربتين ، وهما: المقاربة الموضوعية لاستخراج المواضيع من أجل تفسير قضاياها الرمزية ، والنهج الاجتماعي النقدي لتوضيح تمثيلاتها في المجتمع الموريتاني. summary The presentworkis a studythatfocuses on the themes and symbolic issues in the novel Drum of Tears by the Mauritanian writerBeyroukwhose objective is to discover a new French-speaking Mauritanianliterature on the one hand, and on the other hand to decipher the symbolism. Themes of this novel with a view to demonstrate how much he has used them to reflect his society. Therefore, we used two approachesnamely: the thematic approach to extract the themes in order to interpret their symbolic issues and the sociocritical approach in order to clarify their representations in Mauritanian society.
