The objective of our study is to check the effect of aqueous extract of aerial parts of Cleome arabica L (Capparidaceae) taken from Oued El-Drin (Ghardaia) northern Sahara , on third-stage larvae of Culex pipiens ( Diptera, Culicidae) and the effect of cleom arabica seeds oils on a group formed from 3fungi (funguses) (Candida albicans, Penicillium species, Alternaria alternata) and 3 kinds of bacteria (Pseudomonas sp, Stphylococcus sp, Escherichia coli). The results of our work, haws that whatever the concentration of aqueous extract of C. Arabica, the mortality rate is100%. The study of the antimicrobial activity of the extracts of Cleom Arabica seeds oils a large area resulting in the inhibition of Penicillium sp (30.33 ± 0.58) whereas Condida albicans has a low area inhibition (10 ± 1 mm) and located in the zone of inhibition for the microbial species Pseudomonas sp (15.67 ± 1.53) the input or higher by another strain. The final result is that the extract of this plant can be used as a natural biocide.
