(Faculté Science de la Nature et de la Vie et Sciences de la Terre - Université de Ghardaïa, 2020) RIGHI, Ibtissem; ZIADI, Rania
The study of odonata in the different stations of the Ghardaïa region revealed the existence of eight (8) which represents approximately 12.69% of the Algerian Odonatofauna which is 63 according to Samraoui and Menai (1999) on a period of 04 consecutive months from February to May, These species are divided between 03 families belonging to the two suborders namely Anisoptera with 06 species and Zygoptera with only 02 species. The Libellulidae family is the most represented of the entire population with 04 species which represents 50%, it is half of the odonatological fauna of the region. Across the entire stand, 04 species are common to the areas surveyed, of which 02 are constant. April seems to be the richest and most favorable month for dragonfly development. The station of El-Atteuf which records the highest richness with 7 species, It should be remembered that this site is a lotic environment, bordered by vegetation and protected from any disturbance, It then offers conditions favorable to the installation of a diverse fauna.
