    Le Prototypage Rapide des Méthodes de Fabrication Express et sur Mesure

    The product design is a complex task which is carried through several stages. It begins with the establishment of functional specifications book (cahier de charges fonctionnel) which details the product features and allows an adequate analysis. This task is entrusted to a multidisciplinary team that launches searches in all directions (market research, the study of similar products and identifying their shortcomings and disadvantages.). An essential step by which the product must successfully pass during its development, this step is the realization of a prototype which will be a test and assurance of the proper functioning of the finished product. The realization of a prototype is itself a complex phase that requires sophisticated equipment and should be realized in as short time as possible in order to bring the product to market in a timely manner. Rapid prototyping offers the possibility of producing the finished products in very short time with more complex shapes.
