Abstract
Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. albedinis a soil fungus agent of deadly tracheomycosis of
date palm. This study focused on tests of antagonistic effects of terrestrial microorganisms on
F.o.a isolated from palm infected rachis of two cultivars (Deglet Noor and Azerza). Altogether 92
microorganisms were isolated from soil of nine farms on five palms groves in the of Metlili, only
four bacterial strains had an antagonistic effect against the Fusarium: three belonging to the
genera Micrococcus sp; Staphylococcus sp, and the fourth belonging to Pseudomonas sp.
