Abstract

ملخص:This study focuses on analyzing the accounting treatment of inventories in economic institutions by addressing both theoretical and practical dimensions. The theoretical part covers the concept of inventory, its types, significance, and methods of valuation and accounting treatment. The practical aspect is based on a case study of the Algerian Pipe Industry Company, which adopts the weighted average cost method for inventory valuation. The findings reveal that inventories represent a fundamental component of the institution’s assets and play a crucial role in the operational cycle, from the acquisition of raw materials to production and distribution processes. The study also demonstrates that the adoption of the weighted average cost method aligns with the requirements of the financial accounting system and reflects contemporary accounting practicesتركز ىذه الدراسة على برليل الدعالجة المحاسبية للمخزونات في الدؤسسات الاقتصادية، من خلاؿ تناوؿ الجانبتُ النظري والتطبيقي. يشمل الجانب النظري دراسة مفهو الدخزوف، أنواعو، ألعيتو، وطرؽ تقييمو ومعالجتو المحاسبية، بينما بسثل الجانب التطبيقي في دراسة حالة الدؤسسة الجزائرية لصناعة الأنابيب، التي تعتمد طريقة التكلفة الدتوسطة الدرجحة في تقييم لسزونها. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أف الدخزونات تُعد من الدكونات الأساسية لأصوؿ الدؤسسة، ولذا دور لزوري في العملية التشغيلية، بدءًا من اقتناء الدواد الخا وصولًا إلذ الإنتاج والتوزيع. كما بيّنت النتائج أف اعتماد طرقة التكلفة الوسطية الدرجحة يتماشى مع متطلبات النظا المحاسبي الدالر ويعكس التوجيهات الدعتمدة في الدمارسات المحاسبية الحديثة.
