Abstract
Summary of the study We aim through this study to highlight the role
that public relations play in promoting traditional industries and crafts to
preserve the local traditional heritage. We dealt with the role of public
relations in promoting traditional industries and crafts in the Chamber of
Traditional Industries and Crafts in Tamanrasset through media activities,
promotion of tourism and participation in international exhibitions and
salons. And also by strengthening relations between the members of the room
and its audience and drawing a very good picture of the room.
As for the type of study that we used, it is the descriptive analytical field,
which is most appropriate for such research that deals with the role of a
prominent element such as public relations within this institution. Among the
results that we extracted through this study is that, public relations does not
only promote the traditional industry, but rather maintains it and its position.
