Abstract

The Algerian historical school witnessed so many leaders: such as Dr Mohamed Bachir Cheniti in the ancient history, and Dr Moussa Lekbal in the Medieval History and Dr Nacer Eddine Saidouni in the modern history and Dr Abu El Kacem Saad Allah in the contemporary history and many others. Dr Mohamed Lamine Belghith is considered one of the greatest that is known in the history of Islamic West and focuses on the contemporary history. This study sheds light on Mohammed El Amine Belghith’s personality , despite the circumstances, travels between states, he managed to have a good reputation among researchers. This study focuses on his most important books and works including various scholarly publications, contributions , articles published in magazines and to provide an overview of these works, especially the magister's degree and doctoral thesis. He has been interested in both medieval and contemporary histories , however he devoted most of his time searching about the history of The Almoravid state in the Islamic West.
