تاريخ الجزائر الحديث من خلال كتاب "تحفة الكبار في اسفار البحار" لحاجي خليفة

Abstract

أثار النشاط الواسع للبحرية الجزائرية في القرن (16م) الذي أخذت يمتد نشاطها شرقا صوب سواحل الشام وصولا إلى السواحل العثمانية، إهتمام المؤرخ العثماني حاجي خليفة، الذي ألف كتابا مهما في تاريخ البحرية العثمانية بعنوان "تحفة الكبار في أسفار البحار"، الذي يُعد من أهم المصادر التي درست وأرخت للبحرية العثمانية ونشاطها في حوض البحر الأبيض المتوسط. وقد بين الكاتب من خلال كتابه نشاط البحرية الجزائرية ودورها الإستراتيجي للبحرية العثمانية كقاعدة متقدمة للدولة العثمانية في مواجهة الأساطيل الأوروبية، وإلى دور الأخوين عروج وخير الدين بربروس في بناء الأسطول الجزائري وفي الجهاد البحري ضد القوى الأوروبية ويصف الدور الهام لمشاركة الجزائر في الحملات البحرية ضد القوى الأوروبية. The extensive activity of the Algerian Navy in the 16th century, extending eastward toward the Levantine coast and reaching the Ottoman coast, aroused the interest of Ottoman historian Haji Khalifa, who authored an important book on the history of the Ottoman Navy, entitled "Tuhfat al-Kabir fi Asfar al-Bahar," which is considered one of the most important sources for studying and chronicling the Ottoman Navy and its activity in the Mediterranean basin. Through his book, the author highlights the activity of the Algerian Navy and its strategic role for the Ottoman Navy as an advanced base for the Ottoman Empire against European fleets. He also highlights the role of the brothers Aruj and Hayreddin Barbarossa in building the Algerian fleet and in the naval jihad against the European powers. He also describes the significant role of Algeria's participation in naval campaigns against the European powers.
