Abstract

Sheikh Abd al-Rahman al-Akhdari is one of the few men who struggled with the pen and carried the burden of the Algerian nation in the tenth century AH during the Ottoman era. Despite this, this character has not received sufficient attention from researchers and scholars in various sciences. Al- Akhdari’s writings are still a manuscript awaiting investigation, and what has been printed awaits scientific study. Through this paper, we seek to present an overview of this encyclopedic character to open the way for specialists, and encourage those interested in heritage Algerian to search more on the subject.
