Abstract

This study dealt with the causes and consequences of the Almoravid and Almohad entry to Andalusia, which is an interesting topic in the study of Andalusian history, where we got acquainted with the emergence of the Almoravid and Almohad states in the Maghreb, then the reasons for their crossing into Andalusia and the battles that resulted from that crossing through which the prestige and position of Islam in those countries were restored. Enemy, progress and prosperity, which reached its climax during the era of Ali bin Yusuf bin Tashfin for the Almoravids, and the era of Yusef bin Abdul Mumin and his son Yaqoub during the Almohad era.
