Highlight our study anatomy and histology goal leaflets Pistacia atlantica Desf. atlantica ssp of the Ghardaia region that lives in the wild in Algeria in very contrasting environments in conditions of extreme aridity (dryness) in the Northern Sahara. Cytological results leaflets Pistacia atlantica different cuts do not escape all the major anatomical features of most woody dicotyledonous. Made the anatomic level of the leaflets of Pistacia species that belongs to the family. Anacardiaceae, and the results show that the studied species has different forms of adaptation which appear by: -The presence of a thinner cuticle, and the existence of a single-layered epidermis and aligned. -The change-parenchymal structure which determine the type of the photosynthetic pathway -Retention of water in the aquifer parenchyma (succulents). -The abundance of sclerenchyma (the sclerophyllous plants). -Stomatal density-low.EN_en
