Abstract

In this study, that through it, we aim to conclude the history of the region called Chebka also known as Oued Mzab through the eyes of the foreign and their own western perspective during the XIXe A.J/XIII Hijri (1800AJ/1300Hj). The study also aims to learn about the region’s histroy by studying the foreign writings that came to it within the french colonialism to Algeria for the purpose to study and discover it from one side, and from the other to know best how to control it and rein it the best way possible it is to the rest of the country. Mzab region that impressed the traverlers and the explorers as Masqueray and Motylinsky and Huguet and others sot hey wrote all about it in geographical, relegious, social, economical and even stratigic army point of views that they achieved a rich confirming reports of the distinction and excellence of the unique Mzab’s society.
