Abstract

The study seeks to reach a set of goals, starting with knowing the role that social networks play in obtaining medical information, through highlighting the nature of the medical content that the university student is looking for through his use of social networking sites, as well as the motives for using these sites, leading to the gratifications achieved from medical information. By answering them, we can know the extent to which students rely on social networks to obtain medical information, what is the nature of the medical content that the university student is looking for, and what are the gratifications achieved from that.
