Abstract

This work study the risks related to the intensive use of pesticides and particularly insecticides in agriculture to human health and the environment, several evaluation methods put in place. These methods go through tests to evaluate the toxicity of these products, especially on invertebrates, and more particularly on the genus Daphnia. The results obtained during tests on Daphnia magna; reveals the effect of Lannate 25 WP and Decoys PROTECH insecticides on the life cycle traits of this bioindicator.Individuals treated with low concentrations (0.1% and 1%) of the first insecticide are able to complete the acute and chronic test without affecting. However, high concentrations of the same insecticide and all tested concentrations of the second insecticide completely immobilize the specimens from the first minutes of contact.
