Contribution a l’étude phytochimique de certaines plantes médicinales (Amaranthus sp)de la région de Ghardaia pour des applications

Abstract

This research focuses on the valorization of medicinal plants from the Ghardaia region for cosmetic purposes. The main objective is to study the phytochemical properties of amaranth (Amaranthus sp.) and develop a cosmetic product based on its extracts. Various analyses were performed including phytochemical screening, quantification of proteins, phenolics, flavonoids, tannins, lipids, tocopherols, and sterols. Cosmetic products were formulated and evaluated for its stability and sensory qualities. The results highlight the potential of amaranth in cosmetics due to its antioxidant, moisturizing, and skin-repairing properties.
