Abstract

"the duties of refugees in the hosting countries" a research that I started by defining the refuge and its historical development, then I demonstrated legitimacy and mentioned its types, and I have approached this study based on the problematic: what are the commitments of the refugee and how can it influence his right to refuge? The point of this study was to determine the duties of refugees in the hosting countries according to the Islamic jurisprudence and international law using the comparative method. At last, the study showed that the Islamic law has ensured the refuging right to Muslims and non-Muslims and established the principles which allows to the enactment of laws concerning the duties of refugees in the hosting countries.
