Abstract

The study examines the biological effects of foliar extracts of Cleome arabica L. (capparidaceae) harvested from Ghardaïa region northern Sahara on adult Drosophila Melanogaster reveal the toxicity of this extract on the insect by contact and ingestion. For contact essay , a 100% of mortality rate has been obtained for the pure extract (100%) and rates in order of 72.22%, 61.11%, 44.44% and 5.55% for the concentrations of 80%.60 %, 40%, 20% respectively.
