Abstract

This study aims to identify the social life in the city of Algiers AD, the late Ottoman period, through the memoirs of the Sharif and the memoirs of the doctor. By relying on the descriptive and analytical method, and the historical space for social life in Algerian society, then we also added to the descriptive analytical method during the evening competition to present the rulers to the competition in Algeria through the memoirs of Jamila Al-Zahar and Dr. Shaw, and we reached some important results from the brand’s memoirs of both Al- Zahar and Shaw are among the most important sources chronicling the conditions of Algeria, the late period, the fifth part, the social aspect that received special attention by the largest authors in this field.
