يتمثل الهدف الرئيسي في انجاز قراءة وتحليل في كتاب المدارس اللسانية في التراث العربي في الدراسات الحديثة في دراسة اللسانيات في أهم المدارس العربية لدى الجاحظ والجرجاني، السكاكي وابن خلدون باعتبار كتبهم مدونات لغوية متجذرة في التراث اللغوي العربي من خلال إلمامهم بجوانب اللغة، وذلك من أجل إجراء مقاربة بين المدارس العربية والمدارس الغربية وللتفصيل أكثر مهنا لموضوعنا بالتعريف باللسانيات العربية وإلى متى تعود جذورها الأولى المتأصلة في التاريخ العربي الحافل بالدراسات اللغوية لبيان أهميتها.
