Abstract

Family begins with un unbreakable bond and a thick covenant between a man and a woman through marriage , one of the many reasons God almighty gave it a grave importance , so it stipulated all the rights and duties between the spouses and this what l’ve dealt with in this research. I tried to show the wife’s rights respresneted civilly as (dowry, alimony) and in dealing with her emotionally such as (treating her with justice, not to harm her, and protect her from all wrongs and sins). I also tried to cla rify her duties towards her husband as well, which includes obedience of her behalf and for her to be of service to him when needed, preserving his wealth, his honour and raising his children, and reaspect his family.
