    Third Year Primary School English Textbook Analysis

    Implementing English in primary school for the second time presents a new challenge for the ministry of education and book designers to give birth to a suitable and convenient textbook. The present study aims atanalyzingthe current English textbook which is addressed for third year grade, in order to check the appropriateness of the content, achievements of learners’ needs and meeting teachers’ expectations. In order to tackle this issue, an online questionnaire was used as a research tool to gather data.The questionnaire was answered by sixteen (16) English primary teacher from state and private schools.The results obtained, concludes that teachers’ views vary towards the textbook through theanswered questions.

    The future of French and English language in Algerian education: the case study replacing French language by English language in primary school

    The French language in Algeria is one of the most important languages, especially in education, as it is closely related to the history of the country, which dates back to the era of French colonialism, despite the independence that was in 1962, but the French language has not budged its position over the years. After the Arabic language, but with the advent of the new generation, an unexpected change occurred that shook the throne of the French language, as many people began to demand its removal and consider it a remnant of colonialism that adhered to us over the course of years, as the new generation that appeared we find that we find it more attached to the English language, and it is no wonder that it is the language of communication And development and technology, as many have expressed, is that it is the language of the future, and from here the people’s first demands have become to replace the French language with the English language, starting with primary education, as it is the base of learning and science, and the fact that the French language has become no longer serving the future with nothing. For this reason, this study is reflected in monitoring the future of the French and English languages in Algerian education, shedding light on the inclusion of the English language in the first stage of primary school education.

    Investigating the Use of Effective Teaching Methods and Techniques to Improve EFL Learners’ Motivation. Case of Study: Ali Debbouz Secondary School- Guerrara

    This research aimed to describe the influence of using effective teaching method in EFL classes at secondary schools. This research has been conducted under a descriptive-analytical method. The sample of this research was forty students and six teachers from Ali Debbouz secondary school, Guerrara town, Ghardaia, Algeria. The data was collected through two questionnaires that were administrated to both of students and teachers. The analysis of thedata was carried out through quantitative data analysis along with the observation and comparison between teachers and students’ answers based on five effective teaching methods that are teacher and learner-centered methods, task and content-based instructions, and participatory methods. The research concluded that students’ results and perceptions confirm the fact that the use of effective teaching methods improves students’ motivation.
